What Udraft 3D reads, and what to send instead
Open formats convert free with no account; Revit, DWG and Navisworks run through Autodesk's cloud and need tokens. Whatever the format, the result is one self-contained HTML file.
Free — no account needed
Create viewers from these without signing up for anything.
For evaluation. The free viewer carries the Udraft watermark across the model, and measuring and the review panel are switched off — it is there so you can judge the output before paying, not for sending to a client. Buy tokens and the same model creates clean and unlocked.
Up to 75 MB per file (45 MB for IFC and point clouds), 5 creations a day, and the finished viewer is kept for 2 hours.
Revit and DWG — paid
These run through Autodesk's cloud, which costs us on every creation, so they need tokens.
Create an account and buy a token pack, or ask us for a free trial if you want to evaluate them first.
If you have something else
| You have | Send |
|---|---|
| .3dm | Export IFC or DXF from Rhino. |
| .nwd | Published .nwd files are usually locked and cannot be read here. Open it in Navisworks and publish with the Udraft add-in, or save the model as .nwc from Navisworks (File > Save As, or the NWC exporter from Revit) and upload that. |
| .nwf | An .nwf holds no geometry, only pointers to the source files. Save an .nwc from Navisworks and send that. |
| .pln | Export IFC from ArchiCAD. |
| .rcp | Send the surveyor's original .e57 or .las instead. |
| .rcs | Send the surveyor's original .e57 or .las instead -- .rcs is always derived from one of those. |
| .skp | Export IFC or DXF from SketchUp. |
